Calvary Chapel
Calvary Chapel is a non-denominational church movement focused on the inerrancy of the Bible and the expository teaching from Genesis to Revelation. It began in 1965 in Costa Mesa, California under the leadership of Pastor Chuck Smith who became a leading figure in what has become known as the "Jesus Movement".
Calvary Chapel North Shore began as small group of believers meeting in the home of Pastor Mathew Nadworny. The group continued to grow and moved from his home in Revere to a hotel conference room in Peabody. The Lord continued to bless our small congregation and we eventually moved to a small storefront location in Peabody. In November of 2009 we held our first service in our very own building in Danvers where we continue to meet today.
We have two Sunday morning services and one mid-week service that meets on Wednesday evenings. Our services are focused on the worship of our Lord Jesus Christ through praise music and expository teaching. Pastor Mat teaches straight through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. Childcare is provided during all of our services.
